1. About us

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Parlyreply website and platform (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service is operated by Parlyreply Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16698397. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Parlyreply Ltd.

2. Who can use the service

The Service is designed for use by organisations, including parliamentary offices and other public bodies. To use the Service you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be authorised by your organisation to access and use the Service.
  • Use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and any agreement between us and your organisation.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. In that case, references to "you" and "your" include both you as an individual user and the organisation you represent.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Keep your login details secure and not share them with anyone else.
  • Ensure that any information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Only upload or share content that you are authorised to use and that complies with applicable law.
  • Use the Service in a way that does not damage, disable, or impair our systems or interfere with other users.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or related systems.

You are responsible for all activity carried out using your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you should notify us as soon as possible.

4. Data and confidentiality

You and your organisation retain all rights to the content and data you upload to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your casework, correspondence, or other operational data.

We treat customer data as confidential and use it only to provide the Service, to support you, to maintain security, and to meet our legal obligations, as further described in our Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement.

We do not sell customer data. We do not use customer casework to train third-party AI models.

5. AI features

Some features of the Service use artificial intelligence to assist with tasks such as drafting replies, summarising content, or suggesting case groupings.

These AI features are intended to support human judgement, not to replace it. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving any outputs before using them in correspondence or decision making.

While we work to provide helpful and accurate suggestions, AI outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for a given context. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of any AI output and are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of such outputs.

6. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable and secure Service, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or operate without interruption.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. From time to time we may need to carry out maintenance, updates, or changes that may temporarily affect availability. We will try to schedule planned work in a way that minimises disruption.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or part of it, if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • Your use of the Service poses a security risk or may harm other users or our systems.
  • We are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.

Your organisation may also choose to end its agreement with us, in which case your access to the Service may come to an end. If you stop using the Service, these Terms will continue to apply to any matters arising out of your prior use.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the software, design, and branding, are owned by or licensed to Parlyreply Ltd.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your organisation's internal business purposes, subject to these Terms and any agreement between us and your organisation.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where you have a legal right to do so.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profits, revenue, or goodwill.
  • Any loss of data, business interruption, or costs of substitute services.

To the extent permitted by law and subject to any separate written agreement with your organisation, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service and these Terms is limited to the amount paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim, subject to any different arrangements agreed in writing with your organisation.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, to our business, or to applicable law.

When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. In some cases we may provide additional notice, such as by email or in-product messaging, particularly where changes are material. If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you will be treated as having accepted them.
